Dr. Walker was born and raised in Dyer County, Tennessee, where she developed a strong connection to the community. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union University before receiving her medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine.

Following medical school, Dr. Walker completed her first residency at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, and finished her surgical training at HealthSouth in Mesquite, Texas. During this time, she gained extensive experience in both medical and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions, treating everything from routine issues to complex cases.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Walker practiced in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kentucky, building the experience and perspective she brings to her patients today. Now, after 10 years of practicing in her hometown of Dyersburg, she is proud to continue serving her community and surrounding areas, providing high-quality, patient-focused care at Walker Foot and Ankle.
